Menlo Park-based healthcare investor
HealthQuest Capital said today that it has raised $225M in a new fund,
HealthQuest Capital II, LP, well past its initial target of $175M. The investor said the funds came from un-named endowments, family offices, foundations, fund-of-funds, pension funds, and global healthcare organizations. HealthQuest said it will make investments in medical products, diagnostics, healthcare IT, and technology-enabled healthcare services with the new fund HealthQuest is led by Managing Partner Garheng Kong.
