Equinix said today that it is investing $76M to build a new data center in Brazil. Equinix said the new data center, to be located in Sao Paulo, will be its fifth International Business Exchange (IBX) center worldwide. The company's other centers are in Tokyo, Dallas, and Sydney, and an additional location in Sao Paulo. The new SP3 data center will have 215,000 square feet of space, with 90,000 square feet for colocation and 13.3 megawatts of power capacity.
