MATRIXX Finds Strategic Funding
Mountain View-based MATRIXX Software, a developer of software and a platform used by carriers for billing, customer service, and other management, said it has received a strategic funding from the Philippine Long Distance Telephone Company (PLDT). Financial terms of the funding were not announced. MATRIXX said the investment came alongside a business deal, where PLDT subsidiary SMART Communications will use its platform for its mobile business. The funding came via PLDT Capital, the investment arm of PLDT.
