Quora has acquired Egyptian website
Parlio, the two said this morning. Financial details of the acquisition were not disclosed. Parlio was founded by Wael Ghonim, and was backed by Betaworks, Founder Collective, Marissa Mayer, Wesley Chan, as well as other angels. As part of the acquisition, Quora will be shutting off new additions to Parlio, although it will continue to host existing content from Parlio.
