Virool Picks Up $12M In Series A
San Francisco-based Virool, which helps brands and agencies run video advertising campaigns, has raised $12M in a Series A funding. The funding came from Menlo Ventures, Yahoo! Japan, Flint Capital and 500 Startups. The company said the Series A follows a $6.62 million seed round such investors as FundersClub, Troy Carter and Farzad (Zod) Nazem. Virool launched out of YCombinator in 2012, and is led by Alex Debelov.
