Dispatch Finds $2M For Delivery Robots
San Francisco-based robot developer Dispatch has raised $2M in a seed funding, to help bring rolling, automated robots to the market. The company said the seed funding came from Andreessen Horowitz and Precursor Ventures. Dispatch's autonomous robots are intended to deliver products in cities, and can travel at up to 4 miles per hour; the company said it currently is in pilots at two college campuses, at Menlo College and CSU Monterey Bay.
