San Francisco-based
PowWow Mobile, a developer of tools which helps enterprises take any web-based or Windows business application, and make it available to their employees via mobile apps, has raised $4.25M in a funding round, the company said this morning. The funding came from Vertical Venture Partners, along with IT-Farm, OurCrowd, Prabhu Goel and VKRN. The company said that it has named BMC veteran Kia Behnia as CEO of the company as part of the funding. Co-founder and former PowWow Mobile CEO Andrew Cohen will shift to Chief Customer Officer.
