Infoblox Eyed By Thoma Bravo In Buyout Offer
Santa Clara-based network security appliance developer Infoblox is mulling a go-private offer from private equity investor Thoma Bravo, according to reports on Wednesday. The report said that Infoblox was approached by Thoma Bravo last week on a possible buyout. The company has a market cap of around $1.1 billion, based on trading this morning after news of the offer. Neither Infoblox nor Thoma Bravo have commented on the reports. Infoblox develops secure DNS, DHCP, automated network security, and related software and network appliances.
