eBay's StubHub Buys Ticketbis
eBay announced this morning that its StubHub ticketing unit has acquired Spanish ticket marketplace Ticketbis. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed, however, reports are placing the deal around $165M. eBay said the acquisition will help it grow its presene aross Latin America and Europe, and help it with expansion into the Asia Pacific region. Ticketbis was founded in 2009, and is based in Bilbao and Madrid, Spain.
