AutoGrid Systems Connects With $20M For Energy Grid Software

AutoGrid Systems
, a developer of automated software for controlling the power grid, has raised $20M in a Series C-2 round, the company said on Tuesday. The funding was led by Energy Impact Partners (EIP), an investment firm representing four of the largest utilities in the United States and United Kingdom, and Envision Ventures, and also included utility and renewable energy developer E.ON. The company said the round was "heavily oversubscribed". EIP's Michael Donnelly will join the company's board with he funding. AutoGrid was founded by CEO Dr. Amit Narayan.
