Kespry, which is developing and automated, commercial drone system used for gathering information for the aggregate, construction and surveying industries, says it has raised $16M in a Series B funding. The funding was led by DCM Ventures, and also included Lightspeed Venture Partners, Spectrum.28, H. Barton Asset Management, Rothenberg Ventures, and Wilson Sonini. The company said the funding goes to ramp up its engineering and service teams.
