Rambus Acquires Business Line From Inphi
Sunnyvale-based Rambus, and Santa Clara-based Inphi said this morning that Rambus has acquired the Memory Interconnect Business unit of Inphi, in a deal worth $90M in cash. According to the companies, Rambus will acquire the product inventory, customer contracts, supply chain agreements and intellectual property from Inphi's business unit, which will let Inphi better focus on its communications market business.
