Pleasanton-based Workday has acquired online learning startup Zaption, the two companies said last week, and will shut down Zaption as part of the acquisition. Financial terms of the buy were not disclosed. Zaption said it will shut down its service as of September 30th, and will provides tools to help its customers export their data and content from its platform. Zaption was based in San Francisco, and had offered up tools to let its users create interactive videos focused on video learning.
