Google Acquires Anvato
Mountain View-based Google has acquired Anvato, a developer of video encoding and streaming tools, Google announced on Thursday. Financial terms of the acquisition were not announced. Anvato's software is used for automating the encoding, editing, publishing and distribution of video content for media companies. Google said that Anvato becomes part of its Google Cloud Platform.
