Cloud9 Acquired By Amazon.com
San Francisco-based Cloud9, a developer of cloud-based, software development environments, has been acquired by Amazon.com. Financial details of the acquisition were not announced by the companies. Cloud9 said it will be joining Amazon Web SErvices, and continue to service its customers. Cloud9 was venture backed by Accel and Atlassian, and was founded in 2010.
