Espresa Finds $2M For Employee Services
Palo Alto-based Espresa, a startup that offers up services such as car repair, dry cleaning, wellness cleaning, and massages to employees via a mobile or web app, said it has raised $2M in seed funding. The funding came from Crosslink Capital, Clear Ventures, TEC Ventures and angel investors. The company, led by Alex Shubat, says it is aimed at "improving work-life balance" by bringing services into the workplace. The service--ironically--makes it so employees can spend more time at work, because they don't need to leave work to run errands.
