Autodesk Backs Formlabs In $25M Funding Round
San Rafael-based Autodesk is one of the investors in a new funding round for 3D printing systems developer Formlabs, Formlabs said this morning. Formlabs raised $35M in its Series B, which came from Foundry Group, Autodesk, as well as existing investors DFJ Growth, Pitango Venture Capital, and Pascal Cagni. The deal also includes a strategic collaboration effort with Autodesk. Formlabs makes desktop 3D printing systems, aimed at the professional market.
