Onfido Snags Funding
London- and San Francisco-based Onfido, a provider of identity verification and background checking services, has scored funding from Salesforce Ventures and Talis Capital, the company said late last week. Size of the funding round was not disclosed. Angel investors Charlie Songhurst (Katana capital, Microsoft), and Hank Vigil (Acequia Capital, Microsoft) also participated in the funding. Onfido provides it identity verification services to financial institutions. The company has previously raised funding from Idinvest Partners, Wellington Partners and CrunchFund.
