Galactic Exchange Grabs Seed Funding
Menlo Park-based Galactic Exchange, which provides a software to help users rapidly deploy massive Hadoop clusters, has raised a seed funding round. The funding came from Floodgate and Signia Venture Partners. Size of the funding was not announced. The company, led by Rob Mustarde, says its first product is ClusterX, which will enable organizations to spin up Container virtualized Hadoop/Spark clusters in a matter of minutes.
