Fitbit said late Tuesday evening that it has opened up a new, Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) headquarters in Dublin, Ireland, as part of a global growth effort at the company. The company said that Des Power will be Managing Director fo the new center. Fitbit expects to employ 50 by the end of the year, and up to 100 by the end of 2017 in the new location, which it says will provide strategic business functions for the region, including senior management roles, sales, marketing, operations, finance and customer support staff.
