kWh Analytics Finds $5M
San Francisco-based kWh Analytics, a developer of risk management software and financial products used to better manage the risk of solar power projects, has raised $5M in a Series A funding. The funding was led by Anthemis Group, and also included ENGIE. kWh Analytics is led by Richard Matsui. Yann Ranchere, Partner for Anthemis Group, joins the company's board with the funding. kWh Analytics said it is offering up a financial product called PowerLock, which is an insurance-backed production guarantee for solar projects.
