San Francisco-based
IDbyDNA, a developer of technology that uses DNA to identify pathogens and infectious disease, has raised $9M in a Series A funding, the company said this morning. The funding was led by ARTIS Ventures, and also included ARUP Laboratories and others. The company says it is developing metagenomics-based clinical tests for infectious diseases. The company is led by Guochun Liao, Ph.D.
