Infoblox Acquired By Vista Equity For $1.6 Billion
Santa Clara-based Infoblox, which develops network infrastructure management software, is being acquired by private equity investor Vista Equity Partners, in a $1.6 billion deal, the two said this morning. According to the two, Vista Equity will pay $26.50 per share in cash for publicly held Infoblox, which trades on the NYSE and BLOX. Infoblox is being advised by Morgan Stanley and Fenwick & West LLP in the deal; Vista Equity is being advised by Kirkland & Ellis LLP. Infoblox develops software used for managing DNS, DHCP, and IP addresses and security.
