Cornami Collects $3M
Santa Clara-based Cornami, a developer of tools which optimize software for execution on multi-core processors and distributed, high performance computing (HPC) fabrics, has raised $3M in a Series B funding. The funding was led by Impact Venture Capital. Cornami--which previously was known as SVIRAL--is led by longtime Silicon Valley veteran Gordon A. Campbell, who founded SEEQ Technology, was founder of CHIPS and Technologies, and also has been involved with 3COM, Bell Micro, and Palm, 3dfx Interactive, Cobalt Networks, HotRail, NetMind, PortalPlayer and Resonate.
