Simpplr, a developer of collaboration and employee self-help-desk tools, has raised $6M in a Series A funding, the company said on Thursday. The funding was led by Norwest Venture Partners, and also included Salesforce Ventures. Norwest's Promod Haque joins the company's board with the funding. Simppler, led by CEO Dhiraj Sharma, was founded in 2014. The company's software lets employees search knowledge articles, collaborate, post questions and create support cases on enterprise systems.
