Malwarebytes Buys AdwCleaner
Santa Clara-based Malwarebytes said this morning that it has acquired AdwCleaner, a developer of tools for removing potentially unwanted programs (PUPs), adware, toolbars, and other software. Financial terms of the acquisition were not announced. AdwCleaner was founded in 2011 by three French students.
