San Francisco-based
Habit, a personalized nutrition and wellness company led by Plum Organics co-founder Neil Grimmer, has raised $32M in a funding round from Campbell's Soup Company. Campbell's had acquired Plum Organics in 2013. Grimmer says that he founded Habit after his own, personal health scare two years ago, involving his health habits. The company said it will use DNA, blood, body metrics, and lifestyle information to provide personalized nutrition information to its customers. The company said it expects to launch its service in 2017. Campbell's is Habit's sole investor, according to the company.
