Tesla Motors Acquires Grohmann Engineering
Palo Alto-based electric car company Tesla Motors has agreed to buy Grohmann Engineering GmbH, a German developer of automated manufacturing systems, the company disclosed on Tuesday. Financial terms of the acquisition were not announced. Grohmann is a developer of automated manufacturing systems used for building batteries and fuel cells, along with other automated manufacturing equipment.
