Facebook Acquires FacioMetrics
Mountain View-based Facebook has acquired FacioMetrics, a developer of computer vision and machine learning algorithms for reading facial expressions. Financial details of the acquisition were not announced. The company--a spinout of Carnegie Mellon University--said it will join the team at Facebook.
