ConnectedYard Gets $7M For Smartphone Connected Pool Maintenance

, the developer of a smartphone-connected gadget which keeps swimming pools properly supplied with chlorine, salt, and bromine, has raised $7M in a Series A funding, the company said last week. The company said the newest investor in the company is an un-named supplier to the pharmaceutical, biotech and specialty ingredients markets. The round also included prior investors Playground Global and Tandem Capital. ConnectedYard's co-founder and CEO is Justin Miller.
