Clear Labs, which is using DNA sequencing technology for the molecular analysis of food, has raised $13M in a Series B funding round, the company announced this morning. The funding was led by Wing VC, and also included Google Ventures, Tencent, Khosla Ventures, and Felicis Ventures. As part of the funding, Clear Labs said it has added Michael Taylor, the former FDA Deputy Commissioner, to its board of directors. Sasan Amini is CEO and co-founder of Clear Labs.
