Solvvy, a startup applying machine learning to customer support, has raised $4.5M in a seed funding round. The funding was led by True Ventures, and also included Pear Ventures (formerly Pejman Mar Ventures), Carnegie Mellon University, Signatures Capital, Investment Group of Santa Barbara (IGSB) and angels, including Dan Rose and Hamid Barkhordar. The company's founders are Mehdi Samadi, Justin Betteridge, and Mahesh Ram.
