PayPal Buys TIO Networks
San Jose-based PayPal said it acquired bill payment processing and receivables management company TIO Networks on Tuesday afternoon, paying approximately $233M for the Vancouver, Canada company. Tio provides bill payment processing across North America, and, according to the companies, processed more than $7 billion USD in consumer bill payments in fiscal 2016.
