Mozilla Buys Pocket
San Francisco-based Mozilla said late Monday that it had acquired Read It Later, the developers of mobile content discovery app Pocket. Financial terms of the acquisition were not announced. Mozilla said the buy is its first strategic acquisition. Pocket will become a wholly owned subsidiary of Mozilla Corporation, and part of Mozilla's open source projects. Read It Later was venture backed by Baseline Ventures, Foundation Capital, Founder Collective, and Google Venture.s
