VeloCloud Networks, which develops software-defined, wide area networking (WAN) technology, has raised $35M more, via a Series D funding round, the company announced this morning. VeloCloud's new funding comes a little over a year after another, big funding for the company, worth $27M, in January of 2016. VeloCloud said the funding was led by Hermes Growth Partners, and also included Telstra Ventures and Khazanah Nasional Berhad, the strategic investment fund of the Government of Malaysia, plus New Enterprise Associates (NEA), Venrock, March Capital Partners, Cisco Investments, and others. VeloCloud is led by CEO Sanjay Uppal.
