Tradeshift Buys Capgemini's IBX Business Network
San Francisco-based Tradeshift, which develops supply chain and procurement software, announced on Wednesday that it has acquired Capgemini's IBX Business Network. Financial details of the acquisition were not announced. According to Tradeshift, the buy will help it create the world's largest "business commerce" platform, which it says it expects to increase than a half a trillion dollars in transaction values over the next 12 months. Both Tradeshift and IBX operate B2B procurement networks. Christian Lanng is CEO of Tradeshift.
