San Mateo-based
Roblox, which operates an online, Minecraft-like social game which lets users create, build, and interact in a virtual "sandbox", has raised $92M in a funding round. The funding came from Meritech Capital Partners and Index Ventures. The company, led by David Baszucki, lets creators sell use of their in-game creations to others, and takes a portion of the revenue from those creations.
