JoyRun, a peer-to-peer, crowdsourced food delivery service, has raised $8.5M in a Series A funding, the company said this week. The funding was led by Floodgate, and also included Norwest Venture Partners, Visionnaire Ventures, Morado Ventures, CrunchFund and Triplepoint Capital. The service--which is currently only available on universities and college campuses--harnesses other users to help deliver food to other users.
