Yelp Buys Turnstyle Analytics
San Francisco-based Yelp announced this morning that it has acquired Turnstyle Analytics, a developer of a location-based marketing service which offers up free, guest Wi-Fi to help businesses connect with their customers. Yelp said it paid approximately $20M in cash for Turnstyle. Turnstyle was founded in 2012, and is based in Toronto, Canada. Yelp said Turnstyle currently supports 3,500 business locations worldwide.
