Portworx Gets $20M For Container Storage

, which develops software to allow for "stateful container" storage used for software like Docker, has raised $20M in a Series B funding round. The funding was led by Sapphire Ventures, and also included GE Ventures and Mayfield, along with others. The company has now raised $28.5M. The company's software--which runs alongside such "container" software products as Kubernentes, Docker Swarm and Mesosphere--makes it easier to run databases, big data software, and other applications in "containers".
