Getaround Gets $45M More For Peer-To-Peer Car Sharing

, which operates a peer-to-peer car sharing marketplace, has raised $45M in a Series C funding, the company said this morning. The funding was led by Braemer Energy Ventures, and also included Toyota Motor Corporation (via SPARX Group), SAIC Capital, the venture capital investment arm of Shanghai Automotive, along with Menlo Ventures and Traingle Peak Partners. The company said the funding goes to North American expansion. The company's founder and CEO is Sam Zaid.
