San Francisco-based
Smule, a developer of social music applications which let users create and share musical creations, has raised $54M in a funding round, the company disclosed today. The round came from Tencent, and also included Adams Street Partners and Bessemer Ventures. The round reportedly values the company a $604M post-money. Smule's apps include Magic Piano, Smule Sing!, Autorap, and Guitar. The company's CEO is Dr. Jeffrey C. Smith; Smule was founded in 2008.
