Google Acquires Owlchemy Labs For VR Expertise
Mountain View-based Google has acquired Owlchemy Labs, the developer of virtual reality games as Job Simulator and Rick and Morty: Virtual Rick-ality. Financial details of the acquisition, which was announced by Google on Wednesday, were not announced. Owlchemy was venture backed by Qualcomm Ventures, HTC, The VR Fund, Colopl VR Fund, Capital Factory, and many local Austin angels, and had raised $5M in funding.
