South San Francisco-based biotech startup
Harpoon Therapeutics, which is developing T-cell recruiting biologic therapies for the treatment of cancer, has raised $45M in a Series B funding round. The funding was led by Arix Bioscience and New Leaf Venture Partners, and also included Arix Bioscience, New Leaf Venture Partners, Taiho Ventures, and MPM Capital. Mark Chin of Arix and Ron Hunt of New Leaf join the company's board, with Taiho's Sakae Asunuma joining as an observer.
