San Francisco-based
ScriptDash Pharmacy, which operates an online, prescription pharmacy service has raised $23M in a funding round, rebranded itself to
Alto Pharmacy, and expanded to Los Angeles. The funding round came from Greenoaks Capital, Rahul Mehta (DST Global), Justin Kan (Twitch), and Jackson Square Ventures. Alto lets doctors submit their prescriptions to the pharmacy, and then provides scheduled delivery of those prescriptions to patients, and says it has been working with such institutions as UCSF Medical Center, Stanford Hospital, John Muir Health System, and Sutter Health. The company said it will use the capital for expansion to a number of major US cities, starting with LA.
