Travis Kalanick has resigned as CEO of
Uber, under intense pressure from the company's investors, as the company has come under intense scrutiny over multiple issues at the company surrounding the company's culture. According to multiple reports, Kalanick resigned after pressure from board members from Benchmark Capital, First Round, Lowercase, Menlo, and Fidelity. Uber recently
released a list of recommendations from an outside firm to help it "rebuild trust with our employees, riders and drivers."
