Elevate Security Gets $2M To Reduce Human Vulnerability To Security Threats
San Francisco-based
Elevate Security
, a developer of software to help shift human behavior--and vulnerability--to such things as phishing scams, has raised $2M in a seed funding round. The funding came from Costanoa Ventures and Webb Investment Network. Elevate Security said its software leverages the experience of founders Masha Sedova and Robert Fly from Salesforce, where they developed behavior-based programs which helped improve people's responses to phishing scams and increasing reporting rates of suspicious activity. The company's software both educates employees as well as monitors and tests employee behavior before and after campaigns.
