Silver Lake, General Atlantic Buy A Place for Mom
Menlo Park-based private equity investor Silver Lake, along with New York's General Atlantic, have acquired Seattle-based A Place For Mom, an online marketplace which helps connect families with senior living and care providers. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. A Place For Mom had been owned by private equity investor Warburg Pincus. According to the companies, General Atlantic and Silver Lake will own equal stakes in A Place for Mom.
