Peer5 Picks Up $2.5M For P2P CDN
Palo Alto-based content delivery network operator Peer5 said this week that it has raised $2.5M in a seed funding round. The funding came from FundersClub, Oriza Ventures, Tank Hill Ventures, Leorsa Group, plus angels. Peer5's CDN network uses a mesh of WebRTC nodes, made up of users who are watching the same content across the Internet, and who share those streams with each other.
