INVECAS Buys Lattice's Simplay Labs And HDMI Teams
Santa Clara-based INVECAS, a provider of ASIC design and silicon services, said today that it has acquired the HDMI design team and Simplay Labs subsidiary of Lattice Semiconductor Corporation. Financial terms of the acquisition were not announced. INVECAS said the deal will include the move of approximately 150 R&D staff, labs, and assets from San Jose; Hillsboro, Oregon; Hyderabad, India; plus Shanghai and Shenzhen, China. The deal is expected to close in August.
